Iraklia is a tiny island of the Cyclades, just below Naxos. This was a great little stop, with a couple quaint restaurants and bars, plus some nice hiking and beach. The night we got there, we took a short hike up and around the east coast a bit. We had goat for dinner (very good, tastes like lamb) and a nightcap. Unfortunately the large water freighter came in to unload/dock for the night or it would have been a perfect place to sleep on deck.
The next morning we got up early and took a couple hour hike, up over the crest of the island to the other side where we explored a couple of caves. Then back again (easier knowing how far it was), so set off for the next island.
