I awoke with no rain present and it was looking like I’d have at least half a day of weather good enough for a hike (or three).
My first for the day was the Franz Josef glacier track with a side trip up Sentinel Rock. There are some interesting pictures that show what they predicted (in 2010) the glacier would look like in 2100. Sadly, you can see from the pictures that is what the glacier looks like now.
